When I first decided to run for Congress late last year, some of my friends thought I was a little crazy. After all, Democrats have struggled in rural America in recent years, and my opponent has out-of-state billionaires ready to underwrite his campaign expenses. From the beginning, I know we’ve been in a position to surprise the nation, and now, folks from all over the country are starting to tune into this race. 

During my career in public service, I’ve always put getting stuff done ahead of politics. Rural Arizona has been ignored by DC for far too long, and our district deserves a representative who’ll support our communities and fight for their interests.
