John, from my family to yours, Happy Mother’s Day! To my mom, Joy: you have gone through trials that were unimaginable and unfair. But you taught us to be unafraid. My mom is the reason I am who I am. As a single mother, she raised my sisters and me after my dad passed away. She is strength, selflessness, and grace. She will always be one of the greatest blessings in my life. I love you, Mom.
To Dawn, you are the heartbeat of our family. I couldn’t ask for a better partner in life. I’m grateful every day to be on this journey with you. You are my remarkable wife, the First Lady of the state of Maryland, and mother to our children. Also the best dog mom!
