Look, I’m the son of immigrants. My grandparents left Jamaica for Guatemala during the Great Depression, and like so many other American families, my parents left Guatemala and came to America to grow a family and build a better life. I’ve seen that it takes hard work to overcome challenges.

This is a photo of my mom and dad. They instilled the values I live by today: to put your family first, give back to your community, value your education, and always work hard.


They worked day and night at factory jobs and office administrative work to ensure I was getting the education to land a better job so that I could pursue my American dream.

I am a first-generation college graduate, and I even earned my master’s degree. I had to take out a good amount of student loans, but as my parents taught me, my hard work would pay off.


I soon met my wife, Lisa, and we fell in love. She has always been my rock. She spent her career working as a nurse, helping those struggling with their mental health and addiction. Together we did what every family strives to do, make sure the American Dream lives on for our children.

Lisa and I could not be prouder of our kids. But my goal is to continue making them proud of me; my job as their role model is not done yet.


I am living proof that the American dream is alive and well, but that dream cannot end with me. I want my children and future generations to have the opportunity to reach their full potential in life.


I have seen the mess that Joe Biden and the Democrats’ policies have brought upon our nation, and I have seen firsthand the struggles it has placed on my community. I can’t stand the fact that this is the environment our children have to start their lives in.
