Mother’s Day is the perfect day to celebrate the women in our lives who raised us and continue to lift us up each day through their sacrifices, words of encouragement, and unconditional love.
Mothers put the demands and choices of their kids before anything else, which is why they deserve representatives in Congress who will put their needs first. Today, and every day, I am focused on being a strong advocate for mothers and delivering meaningful change to improve their lives.
I hope you will join me today in honoring all who act as mothers, whether that be a mother, grandmother, stepmother, aunt, sister, friend, teacher, or mentor.
