I hope you take some time today to celebrate Mother’s Day with your family and loved ones.

When I was young, my single mom raised two kids while working multiple jobs to make ends meet. The sacrifices she made shaped who I am today.

In support of the work that moms do to provide for our families, I’m committed to ensuring that Congress provides the support necessary for moms - and parents in general - to build healthier homes and communities, including investing in strong schools, affordable childcare, and access to healthcare for everyone.

When mothers are supported, we all do better.

I hope you have a wonderful Mother’s Day, making memories with loved ones. It’s a beautiful time of year to enjoy the Oregon outdoors and celebrate our mothers!
