I want to wish a very Happy Mother’s Day to all my fellow moms out there, especially to my mother, Pattie!

My mom always pushes me to be the best version of myself, and when I fall short, I know she’ll be the first one there to support me. She still inspires me today to keep fighting for positive change in Congress and to be a better mom to my four children.

My mom always set a great example - working full time while raising my sisters and me, volunteering in the community, teaching us to give back - I learned to never underestimate the power and strength of moms. It’s not always easy being a mom, but moms are resourceful, hard-working, and tough!

I’m so proud to fight for mothers and mother figures in Congress — for quality and affordable child care, a robust child tax credit, and expanded access to essential reproductive healthcare.

And I am deeply fortunate to work with so many moms in NJ-11 who devote so much time to cultivating a safer and stronger future for our children.
