Hi there, since it’s Mother’s Day, I wanted to take a moment to tell you a bit about my mom, Andrea Salinas.

Like so many people across the county, I was furious and devastated when the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, ripping away our fundamental rights. And I turned to my mom, who promised me this wasn’t the end of the story, and that we’d keep fighting.

Here’s what my mom did next: she got elected to Congress, where she’s fighting every day to restore our rights and help people across our country.

Friend, my mom has always had my back. And I’m so proud of the kind of leader she is in Congress — compassionate, tough, and willing to work as hard as possible to build a better future for me, for our community, and for all Oregonians. Believe me when I say, she will never back down, no matter what kinds of obstacles she faces.
