Mothers do SO MUCH to ensure their children can grow up healthy and happy—and of course, they are better able to do this when they have the freedom to decide when and whether to have another child.

It should come as no surprise that many women who get abortions are moms. For example, 61% of women in the United States who have abortions are already mothers, and more than half of them have two or more children. Research from around the world proves that having access to abortion helps moms and their families stay healthy, financially stable and in control of their lives.

This Mother’s Day, we’ve pulled together 3 reasons abortion access is crucial for mothers ([link removed]) —with evidence to prove it and real women’s stories that show this to be true.
