Moore from the Trail

The primary election is only 3 days away. The last week on the trail has been full speed ahead.

Hosted a ā€˜Coffee with Capitoā€™ morning meeting at Coal River Coffee in St. Albans. Good to see friends and talk to voters. Thanks to owners Michael and Rachel Ervin for having me.

Had a great campaign town hall in Parkersburg with Governor Justice and Baby Dog.

Glad I could be with Governor Justice to announce SBA funding for three new Wood County schools. The education of our children is the most pressing moral and economic issue facing our state.

Made it to Wellsburg for the Brooke County Republican Executive Committeeā€™s Meet the Candidates. I was the only gubernatorial candidate to show up. And Iā€™ll always show up as your governor.

Happy to visit with the Chair of ā€˜Gun Owners for Moore Capitoā€™, Val Forgett, at the Re-Opening of Old Western Scrounger Vintage Guns in Falling Waters.

Stopped in Putnam County with Governor Justice for a presentation to the towns of Buffalo and Eleanor. Good things happen when we pull the rope together.

Kept the ā€˜Moorementumā€™ going for a meet and greet event in Charleston.

Joined my wife to be, Liberty, and other amazing ladies at the Union Missionā€™s ā€œWomen on a Missionā€ luncheon in Charleston.

Liberty and I joined our friends Larry and Lisa Pack in Morgantown at the West Virginians for Lifeā€™s Annual Rose Dinner. Tim Tebow delivered an incredibly inspiring keynote.

I stopped by Amherst Madison in Campbells Creek. Built by the late Charlie Jones, the business is now employee owned and has over 300 people on its team.

Stopped by Blackhawk Miningā€™s Blue Creek Complex with Governor Justice to thank our miners for their hard work. Americaā€™s return to energy independence begins right here in WV.

Great visit to the Coal-Mac mine in Holden with Governor Justice. West Virginia can lead this country to energy independence, because weā€™ve done it before.

I talked with Retired Maj. General Jim Hoyer to hear his perspectives on homeland security and state emergency response.

In Beckley for the dedication and ribbon-cutting of the new Salvation Army Chris and Kameron Cline Center for Worship and Service. I appreciate the hard work and many prayers that went into making this day possible.

Ended the week with some hotdogs and custard at The Custard Stand. Such a legendary stop in Webster Springs!

Today is the last day to vote early. I look forward to serving as your next Governor, but I need your vote to get me across the finish line.

All the Best,

Moore Capito
