Hi John — California’s 27th U.S. House district is one of the most competitive districts in the entire country. It is an absolute MUST-WIN if Democrats are going to take back control of the U.S. House of Representatives.
And we just got a glimmer of good news: A new poll shows Democrat George Whitesides with a NARROW 3-point lead in the race.
But Republican Mike Garcia has a record of beating the odds. He won this district in razor-thin contests in both 2020 and 2022, so we cannot take ANYTHING for granted .

In 2022, the final polls in CA-27 had the Democratic candidate narrowly in the lead. Many pundits thought that this seat was about to flip.
But Republican Mike Garcia was able to squeak his way to another term, and he was a CRITICAL vote to deliver the U.S. House to the Republicans.
We can’t make that mistake twice, which is why we are determined to keep our foot on the gas. That means hiring more organizers, opening regional offices, and mobilizing every corner of this critical swing seat .
