We are
thrilled to share some exciting news with you, John:
Building on the success of the first cohort, Mayor London
Breed’s 'Vacant to Vibrant' program is expanding, bringing eight new
storefronts in the East Cut, Financial District, and Yerba Buena
neighborhoods to life. This
initiative is more than just filling spaces; it's about rekindling the
heart of our city, supporting local businesses, and fostering
community connections. Seven of the original pop-ups have
signed long-term leases downtown, a testament to the lasting change of
the program.
Mayor
London Breed is working tirelessly to improve our city and the lives
of every San Franciscan. Will you rush in a donation to keep her
fighting for a vibrant future for all?
Since launching last year, 'Vacant to Vibrant' has turned empty
windows into windows of opportunity, not just for small business
owners and artists but for every San Franciscan. From unique eateries
like Aurora Centro and Hungry Crumbs to innovative spaces like Public
Glass Gallery, these are places where creativity and community thrive.
Vacant to Vibrant is a key component of Mayor Breed’s Roadmap to San
Francisco’s Future.
Vibrant downtown spaces lead to safer, more active, and
economically thriving neighborhoods. This revitalization effort is
about creating a cityscape as dynamic and diverse as the people who
walk its streets.
Together, we're not just filling vacant storefronts; we're
fulfilling the promise of a lively, inclusive, and thriving downtown
San Francisco. Thank you for being a part of this journey to make our
city a place where everyone can prosper.
