I’m taking a break from the campaign trail because I just got an urgent text from Dan, my campaign manager. Looks like the latest poll numbers show the race between Larry Hogan and me is getting tighter.

If you ask the talking heads, Maryland’s Senate seat was never supposed to be in play. But now that Larry Hogan is throwing his hat in the ring, CNN is calling this one of the top 10 Senate seats most likely to flip.

Not on my watch. I refuse to let Hogan do the unthinkable and flip Maryland red for the first time in 36 years. But this race isn’t just about a cage match between me and Hogan.

It’s about the grassroots support I’ve gathered from across the state versus the millions of dollars Hogan has received from special interests that’s propping up his failing campaign.

We still have three days until the primary, team, so there’s still time to make a difference in this race. If we can rally all of our supporters right away, we can ensure a big win on May 14 and then go on to beat Larry Hogan in November.
