Republican lawmakers want to honor Donald Trump by renaming the Dulles International Airport outside of Washington, D.C. after him. Maybe they should consider renaming a different building Trump should be spending more time in — Miami’s federal prison.

The MAGA mob wants to slap Trump’s name on Dulles, even though his “brand” is associated with failed ventures — Trump Steaks, Trump Vodka, Trump University, his presidency. No president who tried to overthrow the U.S. government and plotted to gut democracy, individual freedoms, and equality deserves to have a vital international airport named after him.

Representatives Jared Moskowitz (D-FL), Gerry Connolly (D-VA), and John Garamendi (D-CA) have introduced legislation that fittingly reflects Trump's legacy. Their bill proposes renaming the federal prison in Miami, Florida, to the Donald J. Trump Federal Correctional Institution.

Sign the petition: Don’t honor Trump by renaming an essential airport. Rename the closest federal prison to Mar-a-Lago to “Donald J.
