John,

Next Friday, Donald Trump will be in Minnesota, headlining the Minnesota GOP’s biggest fundraiser of the year.

In the last five polls in Minnesota, Donald Trump has been virtually tied with President Biden. The Trump campaign has had Minnesota circled as one of its key “battlegrounds” all year, and now, they’re making their move.

The path to the White House runs straight through Minnesota, and Trump is willing to do, say, and spend anything to flip us red and secure his re-election.

John, but here’s the bottom line: No matter how much money Trump and his campaign spend spreading lies across our state, sowing division, and fomenting hate, it’s no match for our decades-strong people-powered movement.

This is the most consequential moment we’ve faced so far in this year’s critical election, and we’re not sitting on the sidelines. To make sure we have the resources we need to hold the line when Trump’s in town, we set a goal of raising $15,000 ahead of his visit.

This is an all-hands-on-deck moment. Will you pitch in whatever works for you so we can keep working together to stop Donald Trump and keep Minnesota blue in November?

Thank you,

Keith Ellison
