My Fellow Floridians,

I appreciate you joining me for another campaign update! I have some important updates to share with you today. Things are starting to pick up for Team Gutmann, and we are getting ready to kick into high gear to take on Lois Frankel in November. It’s time to send her into permanent retirement. Our country needs more commonsense leaders in charge who will put America first and fight against the radical Left’s attack on education. And that’s exactly what I’ll do in Congress.

Thank you to everyone committed to standing by my side in this race. We have made incredible progress over the last several months, but we still have a lot of ground to cover before Election Day. I know that if the community comes together behind this common goal, we will secure a historic victory.

On the most recent episode of Take Back Our Schools, I spoke with education activist Erika Sanzi about the Biden administration’s new Title IX rules. Sanzi gave us a brief overview of the history of the legislation and talked about how the rules changed dramatically under the Obama administration and then the Trump administration. And now, Biden’s new rules bring back kangaroo courts and eliminate due process on college campuses for students accused of sexual harassment. She shared how the new rules compel speech and likely violate the First Amendment. Sanzi also explained how the rules make gender a protected class, which will inevitably lead to the destruction of girls’ and women’s sports. Finally, we discussed what her organization, Parents Defending Education, is doing to combat Biden’s new rules and her view on why Congress has been absent in this fight.
