During this unprecedented time, it's more important than ever for us to come together as members of the anti-hunger community to share our successes and challenges in order to best serve our clients.
Hunger Free America CEO Joel Berg will be holding a weekly virtual meeting starting this Friday, April 10th to discuss the effects of the pandemic on food assistance. Click here to register.
All anti-hunger colleagues and volunteers are invited to participate. We will discuss federal relief legislation as it pertains to food assistance, challenges facing school districts with meal distribution, SNAP/WIC outreach, and the long-term effects of the economic crisis on low-income Americans.
We also want to hear from all of you about what is happening in your areas. There will be the opportunity to ask questions during the meeting, but if you would like to send any questions in advance, please reply to this email.
To register for the meeting and to receive information on how to join, please register in advance. To learn more about our Coronavirus response efforts, visit our website.
Additionally, we are continuing to update our list of currently operating EFPs on a daily basis. Thank you to those who have contributed your information to make this database possible.
