waking up to the news, John xxxxxx?

How would you feel waking up to the news of the Tories securing another five
years in power this year? And how would you feel knowing the election was
unbelievably close?

These aren’t far-fetched questions - this is what is at risk this year. One of
the biggest obstacles standing between Labour and winning this general election
is the fundraising gap between us and the Tories.

They have immense funds. They’re going to spend tens of millions doing anything
to desperately cling to power, including trying to kick the sense of hope and
possibility out of voters. That’s their plan: to spread fear and division. And
if we let them, they will achieve it and they will win.

We need to bolster our campaign fund and aren’t asking this lightly. On the day
that marks 14 years of Tory chaos and decline, will you make a £14 donation to
give Labour a fighting chance?

One thing we know for sure: Rishi Sunak is scared of the strength of Keir
Starmer's changed Labour Party.

And rightfully so. Team Labour is an incredible force, made up of thousands of supporters who believe Britain’s best days lie ahead, led by a Labour government that will deliver the national renewal we need.

This future is within our grasp and we don’t want money to stand in the way of it.

Because if we lack the funds, Rishi Sunak and his Tories will be laughing all
the way back into Number 10 - and that’s something none of us want to see
happen.

Thank you,

UK Labour HQ
