This week, more than 500 bold Minnesotans filled the Capitol rotunda, rallying against the so-called ERA, which would insert gender ideology and abortion until birth into the Minnesota Constitution, while creating new threats for religious freedom. The rally featured speakers like House Minority Leader Lisa Demuth, Pastor Rob Ketterling of River Valley, and MFC’s Rebecca Delahunt and emcee Renee Carlson of True North Legal. Tell Legislators to Vote NO on ERA
|
Earlier this year, we alerted you that progressives are working to put the so-called Equal Rights Amendment (ERA) to your ballot.
This bill passed the Minnesota Senate in 2023 and will be now heard in a Minnesota House committee next week. Now is the time to send a message to your legislators telling them to oppose the ERA. This alert will help you send a message to your Minnesota House member respectfully sharing your concerns. By banning discrimination on the basis of "sexual orientation, gender identity or expression," this bill would allow males to enter female-only accommodations such as sports teams and changing facilities. And that's not all: by banning discrimination on the basis of "pregnancy," progressives are attempting to add a right to "end a pregnancy" (procure an abortion) to the Minnesota Constitution.
