Listening to Chicago's Young Leaders
Young leaders across our nation are emerging as leading voices in the gun safety movement. I joined Together Towards Peace to meet with high school students in Chicago to discuss their ideas for ending our nation's gun violence epidemic.
Recognizing Maternal Mental Health Week
Mental health challenges affect millions of mothers every year, but most mothers rarely have access to treatment. As co-chair of the Maternity Care Caucus, I introduced a resolution marking Maternal Mental Health Awareness Week to raise awareness for this issue. You can learn more about this resolution here.
Promoting Heart Health
I appreciated the opportunity to join Women as One for their critical discussion on the future of women's heart health. It is imperative that Congress help the nearly 60 million U.S. women living with heart disease.
If you would like to share your thoughts with me, feel free to visit my website. You can also keep in touch through Facebook and X (formerly Twitter).
Sincerely,
Robin L. Kelly Member of Congress
