As an Air Force Veteran, Ted knows all too well how serious firearms are. That’s why he has spent his career in Congress working to keep our communities safe by passing common-sense gun reform legislation. 

We are so proud and excited to share that his years of work have earned him the recognition and endorsement of GIFFORDS PAC, the political arm of former Congresswoman Gabriel Giffords’ organization—a leader in research and advocacy to fight gun violence.

During his time in Congress, Ted has voted to expand background checks, pushed to reinstate the assault weapons ban, funded research to help our government better understand the causes of gun violence, and more.
