Dear friends and neighbors,

We are nearly one week away from the third annual One Seattle Day of Service [ [link removed] ] on *Saturday, May 18*!

The organizing principle of our *"One Seattle"* vision is that we can accomplish more when we come together and work towards a common goal. We know that neighbors want to be part of the solution to help build a thriving, healthy, and vibrant city, and we can all play a part in creating a better Seattle.

That?s why I?m inviting you to join me and over 70 event partners including Seattle sports teams like the Seattle Seahawks and Sounders FC to give back to our community next weekend on the Day of Service. We have over 110 services events around the city, including cleaning and beautification, gardening and restoration, and helping neighbors in need.

I hope you?ll join me to embrace the spirit of service and collaboration, come together with your neighbors, and take action to improve the city we love and call home.
