John, it's been another chaos-filled week for the GOP.
Not only is the former President, and the 2024 GOP nominee, on trial in New York for a hush money trial, but House Republicans have descended into chaos once again.
This time, MAGA darling Marjorie Taylor Greene tried, and failed, to oust Mike Johnson from his speakership position.
We’re really seeing the spectacle of GOP control playing out in the House, and it looks more like a reality show than good governance.
With Republicans in charge, it’s been exhausting, fruitless, and it’s the American people who are paying the price.
I’m running to bring a public-service approach and a new generation of leadership to represent the Inland Empire and Coachella Valley. In Congress, I’ll support legislation to:
- Ban members of Congress from trading stock;
- Ban former members of Congress from becoming lobbyists;
- End Citizens United and stop dark money from infiltrating our elections;
- And more.
But until we can flip this seat, and fight to stop the corrupting influence of big money in politics, we have to make sure that we are as competitive as possible in this election.
