Did you follow what happened in Wisconsin this week, John?
After a huge back and forth between the Governor and the State Supreme Court, primary voting was held in person on Tuesday. During a pandemic [[link removed]] . Without extending the vote-by-mail deadline [[link removed]] . While closing so many polling stations that Milwaukee only had 5 of its usual 180 stations open [[link removed]] . Five. F I V E.
This is voter suppression, plain and simple. It’s reducing polling stations and voting options, it’s asking people to risk their lives and the lives of their loved ones for something that is their right, and it’s the worst possible option they could have gone with. Clearly, our government isn’t going to fight for our right to vote safely right now. So, guess it’s time to vote them out! 🥰
Below is your upcoming primary voting date (as of today, April 9th) and a link to your Board of Election or Secretary of State’s website. This is where you’ll find the most up-to-date and accurate information on how to vote-by-mail (if your state allows it), how to make sure you’re registered to vote, and any other weird things COVID-19 throws our way.
