We have so much to celebrate
this Mother’s Day!

Happy Mother’s Day!

This month, we honor migrant mothers, including those who are migrating with their children without adequate health resources, and those who must leave their children behind in search of security and a better life -- moms like Marisol*, ([link removed]) who was eight months pregnant when she asked for asylum at the US Southern border. Our Health Network team worked hard to find a clinic that would accept her so late in her pregnancy, and then went the extra mile to help her find a car seat so she could bring her newborn home from the rural hospital.

This year marks 40 years of Migrant Clinicians Network pushing practical solutions to serve mothers and all migrants with health needs, connecting them to care, providing tools and education to clinicians who serve migrants, and advocating that all people, regardless of their migration status, have access to quality culturally responsive health care!

Our work with asylum seekers like Marisol was honored this month: MCN’s CEO Kim Nolte was named to TIME’s Top 100 Global Health Leaders ([link removed]) last week, and MCN Health Network’s case management for asylum seekers was called out for its innovative life-saving care.

We have so much to celebrate!

Help us celebrate our 40 years of work and make sure we can continue to serve more people in the future. Donate to Migrant Clinicians Network – in honor of a mother in your life, or in honor of a migrant mother who needs your support.
