As Mikie’s campaign manager, every day looks different for me. Some days, I’m thinking through our get-out-the-vote plan. On other days, I’m knee-deep in spreadsheets with our finance director to ensure we’re on track to meet our budget.

But this past week was different. When I learned that Donald Trump would be hosting a big campaign rally in New Jersey this coming weekend, I quickly assembled our whole campaign team for a strategy session. It was time to get all hands on deck.

It was clear what we needed to do — drum up a massive grassroots response to ensure that we’d have what it takes to defend Mikie and New Jersey Democrats against whatever attacks Trump is sure to make at Saturday’s rally. So we got to work and launched our New Jersey Rapid Response Fund.

We set one of our most ambitious goals ever — $25,000 in grassroots contributions before Trump takes the stage tomorrow. So many folks on this team have stepped up with a donation, but we’re still about $5,000 short of our target.

That’s why I’m asking: Will you pitch in $10 to our New Jersey Rapid Response Fund, help us hit our $25,000 goal, and put us in the best position possible to defend Mikie and NJ Democrats from right-wing attacks before tomorrow’s rally?
