Friend,
Earlier this week, RFK Jr. claimed that doctors found a worm that crawled into his brain, ate part of his brain, and then died. Of course this is an absolutely bizarre statement, but it is far from the most confusing thing RFK Jr. has ever said. As recently as this week, he has switched his stance on abortion, and he continues to spread misinformation about the safety of vaccinations, including the COVID-19 vaccine.
Listen, all of this is incredibly concerning, but what’s really worrisome is that RFK Jr. chose his running mate based on who could fund his campaign. Recent campaign filings show that the day after he announced Nicole Shanahan as his VP pick, she donated $2 million to his campaign. RFK Jr. choosing her as his running mate has nothing to do with her political experience (of which she has none) or her views and everything to do with the checks she can write.
RFK Jr. and other politicians should be picking running mates based on their experience and merit, not on the amount of money they can provide the campaign. It’s just another way that money runs our political system and it’s wrong on every level. This is a big fight and we can’t get Big Money out of politics alone. So please, join us today in fighting against Big Money by chipping in $10.

In a country rife with misinformation and hyperpartisanship, the last person we need in charge is a millionaire who peddles conspiracy theories and flip flops on major issues like abortion. The only reason RFK Jr. is even able to make it onto these ballots is because of the impact of Big Money. We need people in power who trust in the facts and stick to their word, and RFK Jr. is just here to play spoiler for Biden in November.
RFK Jr.’s campaign and VP pick are just more examples of how Big Money influences every choice in our politics. The American people deserve to have their voices heard- not be overshadowed by conspiracy theory peddlers and multi-million dollar checks written by Silicon Valley lawyers. Contribute $10 right now and join us in the fight against Big Money in our politics and return power back to the hands of the people.
