California megamillionaire Eric Hovde is trying to unseat stalwart Democratic Senator Tammy Baldwin in the must-win state of Wisconsin — and he’s been busted trying to buy his way to Washington with a flood of dark money.

A new financial disclosure report shows that Hovde’s campaign is funded largely by out-of-state dark money — especially from himself and his family members. Hovde has poured $8 million of his own money into the race, his brother has added in another million through a Super PAC, and over $60,000 in donations have come in from other rich millionaires. It's a dark money bomb!
