John,

You may already know who I am from my time in Congress serving North
Carolina’s 8th District. Or you may be coming across me for the first time.
Either way, I’m glad to be reaching out to you, and I think this could be the
beginning of a great relationship. My name is Dan Bishop, and I’m running for
Attorney General for North Carolina with the intention of bringing Law and
Order back to the Tar Heel State.

This email is a bit longer and I hope you’ll read through it. I’m going to ask
you for a donation to my campaign at the end of this email, but let me explain
why it’s so crucial you join my team first.

I was born and raised with my four siblings in North Carolina by my parents,
Kaytee and Bud. They didn’t come from much, but they pushed me towards an
education and instilled a hard work ethic. With a passion for law and justice,
I earned my JD at UNC Chapel Hill. I then went on to marry my wife of 25 years
(and going), Jo; we raised our son, Jack, who’s currently following in his
dad’s footsteps as he’s working to attain his law degree.

As a lawyer, I’m very proud of my track record. I was a commercial litigator
for nearly three decades, where I was voted 10 times to Business NC’s “Legal
Elite” and was selected 7 times by “Super Lawyers.” I was tenacious as a
litigator and handled complex cases. But, I finally felt that it was time to
help a broader scope of North Carolinians and decided to run for Congress.

In Congress, I’ve been one of the toughest and most outspoken conservatives,
challenging the radical left and holding my fellow Republicans accountable. As
a member of the judiciary committee and the subcommittee on the weaponization
of the federal government, I fought the Biden administration’s dangerous
policies and exposed the federal government’s abuses against the Trump
presidency.

Now, I’m running for Attorney General to defend the rule of law and protect
North Carolina. I believe Democrats like Roy Cooper and Josh Stein have abused
the state’s top law enforcement office by turning it into a stepping stone for
higher office and a platform to spread liberal propaganda. I’m putting my foot
down, demanding respect for the office of Attorney General, and bringing Law
and Order back to our great state.

All that to say, I have a track record of fighting the good fight. And I hope
you’ll join my team. The good fight is not free; running a campaign gets
expensive, having to reach voters across the state, taking care of campaign
staffers with food and gas, and running ads on TV. That’s why I’m humbly asking
you for a donation of whatever you can afford.

If you’ve gotten this far, I want to personally thank you for reading this
email. Maybe it means you’ve been a supporter for quite some time. Or maybe it
means you’re intrigued by my story and also believe in Law and Order over Chaos
and Disorder.Either way, can you send my campaign just $1 or more to help me
out?
