HUMAN TRAFFICKING PRIORITIES SIGNED INTO LAW!
We were proud to witness the signing of crucial legislation aimed at combating human trafficking—a scourge we are deeply committed to eradicating. Our Director of Advocacy, Taylor Hawkins, stood with legislative leaders at the Capitol to celebrate this significant achievement. Here’s a closer look at the impactful bills that are now law:
HB 993: Sponsored by Rep. Alan Powell, HB 993 introduces a new felony charge for grooming minors, applicable to both in-person and online interactions. The bill, which passed unanimously, includes measures against digitally altering photos to depict minors in sexually explicit activities and imposes a penalty of up to five years in prison. This law takes effect immediately, marking a substantial step forward in protecting our children.
SB 370: Sponsored by Sen. Mike Hodges and championed by First Lady Marty Kemp, this bill extends the requirements for displaying human trafficking hotline information to additional types of businesses, including massage therapy businesses, body art studios, manufacturing plants, and medical offices. This expansion aims to raise awareness and provide vital anti-trafficking resources more broadly across Georgia. |
A BIG STEP AGAINST GOVERNMENT OVERREACH IN BANKING
Earlier this week, Governor Brian Kemp signed HB 1053, a key initiative endorsed by Frontline and by our Business Alliance. This vital piece of legislation takes a stand against the crippling and destructive nature of Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDC).
A CBDC - pioneered by Communist China and a tool to impose absolute economic tyranny - would be devastating to the financial independence of every single citizen, and we are proud that the Georgia Legislature stood with us to say NO to CBDCs!
With HB 1053, sponsored by our friend Rep. Carter Barrett, Georgia will now refuse to participate in any CBDC pilot program, and no state agency will accept any CBDC as legal tender. This is a huge victory!

STANDING UP FOR CHRISTIAN COLLEGES
Cole Muzio, alongside more than two dozen leaders, recently endorsed a critical letter to Republican Members and Senators. This document, spearheaded by the American Principles Project (APP), addresses Biden's full on attack against Christian institutions. Here’s what the letter covers:
Government Overreach: The letter outlines how the Biden Administration has used its power to unfairly target Christian educational institutions and parents, infringing on religious freedoms and parental rights.
Protection of Christian Colleges: It emphasizes the crucial role that Christian colleges play in maintaining educational diversity and upholding biblical values against a backdrop of increasing cultural and political hostility.
Call to Action: The letter urges lawmakers to take a firm stand against these injustices and to use their legislative power to protect these vital institutions from ongoing governmental attacks.
Biden’s direct attack on families, Christian colleges, and students must be stopped. We at Frontline are proud to stand with the American Principles Project (APP) in the fight to protect our religious freedoms!

A MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT ON GEOFF DUNCAN
Earlier this week, former Lt. Governor Geoff Duncan wrote an op-ed for the AJC providing his endorsement for President Biden - an utterly unacceptable and disappointing position. First, let me remind you that Geoff was an important ally in the battle to pass Georgia's Heartbeat Law, and he was an early supporter of school choice. I will always be grateful for those efforts. Unfortunately, an endorsement of Biden undermines the good policy wins he achieved as Lt. Governor. What's even more egregious is his characterization of the America's most radically leftist president as "decent."

I'm no Trump defender. I firmly believe that, as we consider future options, we should place greater emphasis on the character of our leaders. Unfortunately, the sins and problems of Trump do not, in any way, diminish the devastating effect of Biden's public policy.
The Biden Administration is fundamentally indecent. What he works for every day is putting our daughters at risk, enshrining abortion as the law of the land, putting the nation of Israel at risk, violating the rule of law and our own borders, and harming your ability to provide for your family.
You cannot take anyone seriously who tries to provide moral equivocation between the sins of Donald Trump and the real, outright, overt, all-encompassing evil that Joe Biden works toward daily.
As someone who has shown our former lieutenant governor a good bit of grace and who remains proud of the work accomplished early in his tenure, I discourage anyone from giving credence to someone who has lost sight of the true evil we see from this White House, preferring the death and destruction brought by its leader over the former president that his new friends at CNN exist to revile. |
A MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT REGARDING DAVID FRENCH A few weeks ago, I included a warning about a gentleman who worked for a leftist organization, led by the former head of Planned Parenthood, that quit because of his anger over our efforts to end indoctrination and protect kids in schools.
I was disappointed to learn that this leftist activist is an Elder in a PCA Church, one that appears to have embraced woke ideology and that has no place in the conservative denomination.
Now, I am even more irate over the PCA's decision to include David French as a panel speaker at its General Assembly. For those of you who may be unfamiliar with French, he spent much of his career as a conservative writer and attorney - even working with organizations like ADF on a number of key cases.
In 2016, he expressed his concerns over Donald Trump and became one of the primary "Never Trump" voices, though he did so largely on principled grounds.
Since then, however, French's disgust over Trump has turned to a disgust at Christendom, conservatives, and conservative policies. Once an opponent of gay marriage, he now supports it. And, he has even adopted leftist positions supporting "drag queen story hour" and other such leftist lunacy.
There is nothing about David French anymore that is remotely conservative, and, when looking at the fruit of his worldview and perspectives, there is much reason to be concerned for his soul.
It is utterly shameful that the PCA would choose to platform him. While his defenders are blaming "cancel culture" on the online push to remove him, it is not "cancel culture" that would demand fidelity to the Gospel as a criteria for inclusion on a panel at a flagship conservative denomination's annual gathering.
If you are a member of the PCA, I would encourage you to join me in sending an email to [email protected] expressing your opposition to the inclusion of someone whose views are heretical. Opposing French's inclusion has, frankly, nothing to do with his opinions on politics - it has everything to do with the fact that he clearly no longer holds the Word of God to be the standard of right and wrong.

CONFRONTING SURROGACY PRACTICES IN THE LGBTQ COMMUNITY
A recent social media video has sparked significant concern, showing a man, who identifies as a woman, receiving a newborn baby in a hospital, a child he acquired through surrogacy. This visual captures the troubling practices surrounding surrogacy and IVF, particularly within the LGBTQ community – a stark conflict with God’s Design for family.
It's time for Christians to speak out against these practices. Surrogacy often results in babies being forcibly separated from their mothers at birth, disrupting the vital bond that is crucial for a child’s initial emotional and physical development. This practice commodifies human life, turning the miracle of birth into a transaction and reducing children to products manufactured on demand. Such methods not only rob the child of a natural maternal connection but also degrade the surrogate mother to a mere vessel, disregarding her dignity as a person made in God’s image. As defenders of life and family, we cannot stand idly by while the foundational elements of human dignity are being undermined.
We must rally together to challenge these practices, advocate for laws that protect both children and mothers, and ensure our voices are heard. It's time to defend the sanctity of life and family as ordained by God for the well-being of our society and for the sake of our future generations. |
