Dear friends of the Fund, The Outsiders Producer's Picks Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre See top-notch theater and feel good about helping others! Producer's Picks tickets are donated by the producers so your entire ticket purchase goes to support the Entertainment Community Fund's programs and services. Adapted from the classic novel by S.E. Hinton, The Outsiders—now nominated for 12 Tony Awards including Best Musical—reimagines the timeless tale of haves and have nots in 1960s Oklahoma. Tony nominees Brody Grant (in his Broadway debut) and Sky Lakota-Lynch (Dear Evan Hansen) star as the iconic characters Ponyboy Curtis and Johnny Cade.
Patriots Producer's Picks Barrymore Theatre Russian billionaire Boris Berezovsky taps the little-known deputy mayor of St. Petersburg—Vladimir Putin—as a successor to President Boris Yeltsin. Soon Putin's ruthless rise sets off a Shakespearean confrontation between the two powerful, fatally flawed men. Starring Tony and Emmy Award nominee Michael Stuhlbarg (The Pillowman) and Olivier Award winner Will Keen (The Crown), Patriots reveals how Russia’s post-Soviet machinations continue to shape our world to this day.
Illinoise Producer's Picks St. James Theatre Based on the landmark Sufjan Stevens album, Illinoise is a Tony nominee for Best Musical. It shares stories of first love, grief and growing up and is told by an 11-member band, three vocalists and impressionistic choreography. Director and choreographer Justin Peck (Carousel) and Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Jackie Sibblies Drury (Fairview) have crafted an experience that bursts with feeling.
An Enemy of the People Producer's Picks Circle in the Square Theatre When a small-town doctor discovers a catastrophe that risks the lives of everyone in his close-knit community, he raises the alarm. But he is shaken to his core when those in power not only try to silence him–they try to destroy him. Starring Emmy-winning, Tony-nominated actor Jeremy Strong (Succession) and adapted from Henrik Ibsen’s renowned work, An Enemy of the People is now a Tony nominee for Best Revival of a Play.
