Dear Friend of Liberty,
Imagine the horror of losing your home over an unjust foreclosure process—for decades-old, overdue property taxes. This is a harsh reality for Christine Searle, a 70-year-old homeowner in Arizona. It's an issue closely tied to the defense of property rights and our Constitution.
After 18 years of owning her home, Christine might lose it all — along with all the value it has gained over decades — and find herself homeless because of a $1,600 tax debt.
The government thinks that it is not enough just to pay the taxes, they want to allow private investment companies to take her house. This overreach is all too common from bureaucrats who see an opportunity to exercise government power over private citizens.
Here at the Mountain States Legal Foundation (MSLF), we believe in fighting for the rights enshrined in our Constitution, to ensure fairness, justice and freedom for all.
Christine's fight isn't just about her. It's a manifestation of a larger problem. Foreclosure laws across our country are threatening our basic rights to property. They're undermining years of equity build-up and the innocence of folks who've made every mortgage payment on time.
We're trying to set a legal precedent that defends these fundamental rights—but we can't do it alone. Today, we're reaching out and urging you to join us in this fight.

Your voice matters. Let's stand together against this injustice. After all, justice for Christine is a step towards justice for all homeowners at risk of losing their property unjustly.
Thank you for your support.
