It’s our 10th birthday, John!
This month marks a DECADE of change-making for Save the Children Action Network (SCAN). As Executive Director, I couldn’t be prouder – we opened our very first offices in 2014, and now we’re a nationwide movement.
To celebrate 10 incredible years of impact, we’re hosting 10 Days of Action! The fun starts on National Child Care Provider Day, a time for honoring people who dedicate their lives to helping kids thrive.
Child care workers can’t build bright futures without support. Let’s raise our voices to fight for it!
John , early learning helps children get a strong start in life – that’s why it was one of the first-ever causes SCAN advocated for.
But I’m worried Congress won’t prioritize child care in next year’s budget. Millions of kids are already missing out, so funding these programs is essential.
The numbers don’t lie. In most of the U.S., early learning costs more than in-state college tuition – and only 15% of eligible families can access the federal subsidies that make it more affordable.
We have to show lawmakers just how important this is. Will you send a message to kick off SCAN’s 10 Days of Action?
Thanks for celebrating with us,
