Dear CSSJ Member,
As Mother's Day approaches, I wanted to take a moment to acknowledge and appreciate the incredible strength and resilience of mothers in our community who have been affected by violence. Whether you've experienced the loss of a child, a family member or have seen your community torn apart, we recognize the courage it takes to move forward every day.
Mothers are often the heart of their families, the source of comfort and guidance, and the keepers of cherished memories. When tragedy strikes, your love and strength become a beacon for others. You inspire us with your ability to find light in the darkest of times, to advocate for change, and to support others who have experienced similar pain.
Your stories matter. Your voices are powerful. Through your efforts with Crime Survivors for Safety and Justice, you're not only seeking justice but also creating a safer, more compassionate world. You remind us that love is stronger than violence and that hope can emerge from even the deepest grief.
On this Mother's Day, we honor you—the Mothers of the CSSJ Movemen t who have faced unimaginable loss and continue to fight for our communities. We stand with you in your journey toward healing and change. Know that you are not alone; you are part of a community that supports you, respects you, and admires your resilience.
