Dear Neighbors,
We have a week and change remaining in the 2024 legislative session and we're entering crunch time. Thank you so much for all of your support and encouragement.
On Tuesday, we secured a huge victory for religious liberty in Minnesota by re-establishing protections for religious entities against discrimination claims.
Thank you the hundreds of constituents that reached out voicing your support for our faith-based organizations.

This week, the Minnesota House approved an EMS bill that creates a new regulatory structure governing ambulance services and EMS across the state.
As I've been discussing all session long, EMS is at a breaking point with thousands of Minnesotans at risk of no longer having access to these life saving services if the legislature fails to provide the emergency aid funding needed to keep services afloat.
To fix the problems facing ambulance services in Minnesota, we need to focus our efforts on recruitment, retention, and reimbursement. This bill does not address any of these concerns and fails to provide the serious financial investment that emergency care providers are asking for.

I also recorded a shorter video giving the latest update on the EMS issue as we enter the final days of the legislative session. Click here or the photo below to watch.
