Dear friend,
It’s official: with less than six months to go before election day, The New York Times has deemed the Michigan Senate race one of the 10 Senate races to watch in 2024.
I may not be on the ballot this November, but I’m still fighting to ensure Michigan’s U.S. Senate seat stays blue. That’s why I’m asking you to contribute to the Michigan Victory Fund today: we need your help to fuel our historic effort to ensure the Democrat running for my open seat wins in 2024. Look, we shouldn’t need The New York Times to tell us it’s going be tough for Democrats to hold onto the Senate Majority this year. The truth is that, in Presidential years, Michigan is always close.
In 2016, Donald Trump won by just 10,000 votes. In 2020, Senator Peters, a champion for Michigan families, won by less than a 2% margin.
Keeping Michigan blue will be essential if we want to protect everything we’ve fought for together through the years.
Funding protections for our Great Lakes, ensuring access to quality affordable health care, strengthening our economy, and building our green energy future – these are the issues we’ve fought for together.
Right now would be the worst possible moment to let Michigan elect a MAGA Senator who will roll back our progress and put Republicans in the U.S. Senate Majority.
So, friend , can you please donate $25 and help us keep this seat? [[link removed]]
