Dear John,
I’m so pleased to share The Sentencing Project’s 2023 Annual Report with you. [[link removed]]
Despite the challenges of the past year, we were proud to advance urgently needed sentencing, youth justice, and voting rights reforms across the country.
As I look back on our work over the past year, I am filled with gratitude - for our talented staff, our amazing partners, our dedicated Board of Directors, and for the unwavering support and commitment of our incredible community - including you.
You are the foundation of our movement for a more just, equitable, and compassionate legal system. It takes all of us to transform hearts, minds, and systems, so that we may recognize every person’s dignity and shape our legal system accordingly. In these pages, you'll find more than just numbers and statistics; you'll read about how your commitment to justice has made a difference in the lives of thousands of people, their families, and their communities.
