Across the country, reproductive rights are being challenged daily. You may think we have nothing to worry about here in California regarding reproductive freedoms, but that is the furthest from the truth.

Republicans have made it abundantly clear that they will FEDERALLY BAN abortion if given the chance–and we should believe them.

Bodily autonomy should not be up for debate, our rights should not be interfered with, and legislators should stay out of private matters between doctors and patients.
The only way to ensure that extremist Republicans won’t federally ban abortion is to kick them out of Congress. We are only a few seats away from securing a Democratic majority in the House, and as the BOLD PAC chair, the campaign arm of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus, I am working tirelessly to elect progressive and pro-choice Latinos to Congress.
