Last month, we got off to a fairly slow start on our online fundraising. We were sure that we were not going to reach our April goal at the rate things were going.

Just before midnight on April 30, we were anxiously searching for folks to help bridge the gap. Although we missed the mark by the deadline, people on this team stepped up the next day to make up the difference.

With your help, we ended up reaching 99% of our email goal and breathed a sigh of relief. Thank you once again for rising to the occasion when it mattered. Go team!

Now that it's May and we're just six months out from the election, we need to aim higher and act decisively to put our team in a strong position.
