The summer months are upon us! Swimming pools are warming up, the kids are about to be on break, and while many of us are planning that summer road trip or time at the beach, that just isn’t the case for many of our neighbors here in the Valley.

As temperatures climb, so does the urgency to shield our community from scorching triple-digit heat. For the thousands of individuals experiencing homelessness in Maricopa County, summer heat can be a matter of life or death.

And for some families, while they may not be homeless, they may be having to make tough decisions on how to stretch that final dollar: Do I buy groceries or add gas to the car, or can I turn the A/C down a couple degrees for my family tonight?

Together, with your support and the power of our community, we can save lives this summer through our Summer Heat Relief Campaign! Here are some examples of how your contribution can start impacting individuals and families as soon as tomorrow!

* Heat Relief Kits ([link removed]) : $30 one-time donation supports Heat Relief Kits for 5 individuals. Kits include items such as sunscreen, lip balm, a reusable water bottle, a cooling towel, and more.
* Snack Packs ([link removed]) : $60 one-time contribution helps provide Snack Packs for 10 people. Snack Packs include items such as granola bars, cereal, fruit snacks, and more.
* Family of 3 ([link removed]) : $20 monthly, or a $240 one-time donation, ensures a family of 3 have access to water, food and other vital cooling resources for a week.
* Family of 5 ([link removed]) : $40 monthly, or a $470 one-time donation, ensures a family of 5 are able to receive much-needed Snack Packs, Heat Relief Kits and other cooling resources for a week.
