This year, the Vote Forward community is working together to reach 10 million potential voters ahead of the November elections. Though it’s still early in the year, we’ve already gotten a strong head start on letter writing campaigns to:
Young people who may need a reminder to vote,
Unregistered potential voters (coming soon – we’ll share more information in the coming weeks!),
and U.S. voters living abroad, who as a group vote infrequently despite still holding the right to vote.
Ten million letters is an ambitious goal, but it’s achievable if everyone in this community dedicates time to writing letters this year—and if we bring in new letter writers to join this work. Growing this community depends largely on our ability to provide Free Stamps and Letter Kits to volunteers who would like to participate, but who currently face logistical or financial barriers that prevent them from writing.
