The Bureau of Land Management has released a [management draft plan]([link removed]) for Bear Ears National Monument and is [accepting public comments until June 11]([link removed]). 

**We encourage you to submit a comment in favor of Alternative E.** The Bureau of Land Management, Forest Service, Bears Ears Intertribal Coalition, and Rural Utah Project all support Alternative E to maintain best practices for the land by promoting sustainable recreation, the health of local ecology, and carbon capture.

Protecting and preserving public lands is crucial to mitigating climate change. Similar to issues facing the Great Salt Lake, protecting Bears Ears creates a ripple effect across air quality, climate, water, and more. 

As environmental stewards, we strive to create sustainable habitats, keep ecosystems intact, specifically around indigenous trees and plants, and prevent disturbances from off-road vehicles. All of which Alternative E addresses!
