Friend, We’ve always known that if Donnie loses again in November, he’ll just do what he did last time and say it was rigged. In his mind, this is the only way he can fail. He has a shockingly high opinion of himself, especially considering how many times he’s failed in the past. He creates these storylines in his head to dodge acknowledging his losses. It’s sad, but in the MAGA alternate universe, it works. So, what do we think The Donald is searching for most in a VP candidate? Someone who will be ready to stand with him as he refuses to accept the results of a fair and free election in November. Someone who will help him file bogus lawsuits across the country with the MyPillow guy. Someone who will lie to the American people regardless of what they actually believe. Since the dog murderer seems to be digging herself into a deeper hole by the day, keep an eye on a sycophant like Tim Scott. Man, does it seem like he wants the job. In case you missed it, Tim went on Meet The Press last Sunday and did exactly what Trump would want him to do. And no, we’re not talking about offering to pick up his legal bills. Scott was pressed on whether he’d accept the results of the 2024 election and he just dodged the question. Five times. We’re guessing that means no. This is MAGA today. We all remember what happened a little over three years ago after President Biden whooped Trump in the election. The orange messiah called all of his cult members up to Washington and we sat and watched as our Capitol was taken over by a bunch of violent insurrectionists wearing MAGA hats and camo. A police officer was murdered, elected officials were forced to hide in the basement, and – this is key for the veepstakes – they tried to hang Mike Pence. Trump's mob tried to hang the vice president. What about this time? Can we take another January 6th? Are we supposed to believe that these same people won’t come back to Washington if Trump loses? He's already laying the groundwork. While we really don’t want to find out, we’re going to have to. Our only option is to beat him so badly that nobody believes his election fraud tall tales. And make no mistake, whoever Trump picks for his VP will be an election denier and insurrection enthusiast. Is that really the team we want heading up this country? Didn’t think so.
