Dear Friend of Liberty,
I'm writing to you today about a grave injustice that threatens the fundamental principle of our constitution - the right to own property.
The Arizona government, acting with private investment companies, are threatening to kick 70-year-old Christine Searle out of her home in Arizona due to an unjust foreclosure process linked with overdue property taxes.
That means, that after 18 years of owning her home, Christine might lose it all — along with all the value it has gained over decades — and find herself homeless over a $1,600 tax debt.
The government thinks that it is not enough just to receive the overdue taxes, they want to allow private investors to take her house. This overreach is all too common from bureaucrats who see an opportunity to exercise government power over private citizens.
Unless we fight back, this could happen to anyone's grandmother, parent, or even you.
This is where you come in. Our attorneys at Mountain States Legal Foundation are fighting to protect Christine's private property, but we need your support to win this legal battle. A victory for Christine will not only ensure her home is saved, but it will also set a precedent, defending our constitutional property rights.
