Breaking news: 26 Republican AGs just sued the Biden administration over a new rule requiring firearms dealers to run background checks on buyers at gun shows across the United States.

The rule is intended to close the gun show loophole that allows tens of thousands of guns to be sold each year by unlicensed dealers who do not perform background checks — allowing guns into the hands of buyers potentially legally prohibited from owning them.

90% of Americans support universal background checks. But Republican AGs, beholden to their NRA donors, are spending their time making it easy for any potential violent criminals to get their hands on a gun.

Our country has been plagued by gun violence for far too long. But we won’t see any real change until Republican AGs bought and paid for by the gun lobby are kicked out of office.

That’s why we need you. The NRA has deep pockets, and we’ll need a surge of grassroots support to fight back. Will you add a contribution today to support our fight for gun safety? [[link removed]]
