Let’s take a look at how we got here, team:

FIRST: Trump-appointed Postmaster General Louis DeJoy enacted a 10-year plan for the USPS. This plan has slowed mail delivery, closed post offices, cut more than 50,000 jobs, and raised the price of stamps MULTIPLE times – 36% since 2019! And the USPS STILL expects to lose $6.3 billion in 2024.

THEN: U.S. Senators and the Postal Regulatory Commission became fed up with the chronic conditions plaguing the USPS under Postmaster General Louis DeJoy – so much so that Senators held a hearing to investigate its abysmal performance. During the hearing, lawmakers voiced their biggest concerns: including that DeJoy’s failures could disrupt mail-in ballot voting in November’s elections!

NOW: The USPS Board of Governors – the ONLY governing body that can FIRE DeJoy – is meeting TOMORROW for their quarterly public meeting!!

So we’re counting on you to make your voice heard before they meet, team. We cannot afford the destruction of an institution that American families – and American elections – depend on!
