Ever since I first ran for public office, I’ve been hearing the same question:
Is she tough enough?
When I was elected State’s Attorney, they said, “She’s a nice lady, but I don’t think she’s tough enough.”
I proved them wrong, and oversaw a 50% decline in violent crime.
When I ran for Prince George’s County Executive, they said, “I don’t think she’s tough enough.”
Once again, I proved my grit by guiding the second largest county in the state through the pandemic and the economic recovery.
Now, they’re asking if I’m tough enough to beat Larry Hogan in November, and with your help, we’ll once again send them a clear message:
I am tough enough. This grassroots team is tough enough. Maryland is tough enough.
I’m ready to get to work in the U.S. Senate and show everyone how tough Maryland is, but I’m counting on your support. Will you chip in $25 to help me win next week’s Democratic Primary and set us up for success against Hogan in November?

Let’s show them we’re a force to be reckoned with.
