Dear Friend,
Earlier this week, I told you about my son, Gary, who is serving a 177-year sentence for bank robbery, and that I've had to learn some of the worst things a mother can, such as his cancer diagnosis, over the phone.
Hearing him say that compassionate release was once again denied was also difficult. Gary has helped more than 40 former prisoners successfully apply for compassionate release and return to their families. Despite his own setbacks, he remains strong and hopeful that his request will be granted one day.
Every night, I dream of Gary coming home. Supporting FAMM and their fight for second chances will help our children return home and reunite families. Please consider donating today: [link removed] [[link removed]]
Your gift to FAMM will help reduce unjust sentences and prevent new mandatory minimum laws.
Thank you, and Happy Mother's Day.
