John–
For decades, Glock has known that its guns can be easily converted into
illegal machine guns in a matter of minutes with cheap, quarter-sized
devices called "Glock switches." When modified with a switch, Glock
pistols can fire 1,200 rounds per minute—faster than many machine guns.
It should be harder to build a machine gun than IKEA furniture.
Glock pistols are uniquely easy to convert into illegal machine guns,
which is why we are putting Glock on notice.

fueling violence in our communities.
It's time for Glock to make a change to its guns' designs. It might cost
Glock a few dollars, but that's what a responsible and moral company does
when its products are being used to fuel violence and cost innocent lives.
Gun companies shouldn't be putting profits over public safety.
Two bills were introduced this week in New York State to force them to
change—one that would stop future sales of easily convertible guns, like
Glocks, in New York AND another to require gun manufacturers to ensure
that their guns can't be easily modified into illegal machine guns with
switches.
Glock has known for decades that its guns can be easily converted into
machine guns, yet it continues to sell these uniquely modifiable pistols
and profit from them as they endanger our communities.
Glock was the number one manufacturer of recovered crime pistols between
2017 and 2021, and clearly, Glock pistols are popular with criminals in
part because of how easily they can be converted into machine guns.

easy to convert into illegal machine guns.
Thank you so much for being a part of our movement,
