Earlier this week, we learned that Donald Trump has essentially promised to do everything in his power to flip Virginia red, paving the way to a second term.

I think most people know just how disastrous that would be…but in case you’ve forgotten, he made the stakes crystal clear in a recent TIME Magazine interview. Here are the highlights:

He supports punishing women who get abortions.
He kept the door open to a national abortion ban and IVF bans.
He claimed that Americans like dictatorships.
He suggested there may be violence if he loses.
And so many more awful, terrible things.

And if there’s anything that his first term taught us, it’s that we need to take him at his word when he promises extremist actions like this.

The stakes couldn’t be any higher.

We must stop Trump from winning Virginia in 2024.

We must defend the Democratic Senate majority.

And we must stand up to MAGA extremism.
