Yesterday, the MAGA Republican majority in the U.S. House voted to add a citizenship question to the census and remove non-citizens from the tally in the next redistricting process. 

When Trump tried to add a citizenship question a few years ago, the fair maps movement rallied together to stop it. Ultimately, this effort was defeated in the courts, with even the U.S. Supreme Court rejecting the move — but now we’re going to have to fight back all over again.
